Blainey North has been invited to Art Direct the Awards venue interiors and the Red Carpet for the coveted second annual Comedy Central® hosted – ‘The Comedy Awards’ in New York, working alongside Production Designer, Keith Raywood.
The multi-platform, annual event dedicated to honouring and celebrating the world of comedy, will be taped at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Last year’s inaugural event was attended by the biggest names in comedy including David Letterman, Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Will Ferrell, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Louis CK, Kristen Wiig, Ty Burrell, among many other comedy elite.

Blainey North is honoured to have been appointed to the board of the Australian Children’s Music Foundation.
The ACMF uses the power of music to inspire and enrich the lives of all Australian children and youth, particularly the disadvantaged and indigenous. We aim to ensure that all Australian children, regardless of their cultural backgrounds or socio-economic and geographic circumstances, have the opportunity to benefit from a musical education.

Perched 36 floors high above the City of Melbourne is the latest luxury Villa we have completed for Crown Towers.
These Villas open to the opulent living area complete with oversized coffee table constructed from a series of individual bevelled panels with an inset metal tray.
The white leather upholstered panels of the bedhead and freestanding bedroom screens are a continuation of the panels used in the dining area and a base for this carefully constructed scheme. A custom designed round mirror is located on either side of the bed to continue the softness of this scheme into every finishing detail.
Flowing from the living area is a private dining area for 8 to dine in overlooking the city.
Designed under a classical scheme of dark glossy timber veneers, gold accents and white leather upholstered bevelled wall panels, this Villa creates a relaxing space with a modern edge to its details.
The strong accents of red throughout the scheme give a vibrancy and life to an otherwise neutral palette whilst maintaining its classical elegance.
Each Living area is equipped with a private bar with a series of decadent metal trimmed detailed panels and mirrored shelves.
